Food and Aztecs

Food and Aztecs, completely unrelated; but in my mind, they are two very closely related subjects right now. Right now I am having a brain freeze, due to the extreme ice-cream feast I had ten minutes ago (actually it was only one bowl, but it felt like a feast). The creaminess of the white, speckled vanilla plus the dark richness of the chocolate syrup made me smile... but now I have brain freeze... and I'm writing an essay on Aztec sacrifice and Egyptian mummies... did I mention that I have to describe the sacrifices??? :| yikes! But it's all good, 'cause I finished most of it and tomorrow is just the rough draft, so it won't be perfect anyways. I think that some people are hypocrites, calling Aztecs barbarians and cannibals because they ate the sacrifices, while they are in wars because they want power... -_____- not a very good reason. My friends and I (<-- lookee, good grammar! :D) were looking at tons of shoes and brands online, and I realized that I barely knew any brands... wow... so now my friend is teaching me all the brands and I'm going to be looking at 4" heels :O. Very glad I don't have to wear those!! scary........ :/ Oooooooh, there was another earthquake in LA. Lol, that reminded me; our class prez told us a joke about two geologists studying a fissure in a rock. One says to the other, "It's not my fault." harharhar... :) I've been watching Japanese dramas lately, they're pretty addicting. Haiti

Hey guys just wanted to give you all a heads-up about Haiti. I hope you're all doing whatever you can to help! I just bought the Hope for Haiti album on iTunes of which 100% goes to Haiti relief. Also, there are so many sites online where you can donate. I would choose the more known ones, like Red Cross and Yahoo has a page of where to donate to. So hopefully, you can get the word out to help the people of Haiti. There have been so many earthquakes and aftershocks and they need all the help they can get. Peace on Earth :)

OMG!

Sorry, you guys! I haven't talked in soooo long! So much stuff going on, you know? Well, I did okay in my finals, which is pretty good, since it's the first time I ever had them... I know, I know... weird right? Anyways, Winterball is today, I promise I'll take pics and post one or two if I can. It's been raining so much in the last week, I'm so happy! I'm also happy 'cause it's sunny, and I won't totally freeze when we go outside. But it was RAINING! YAY! ( hearts, 'cause it won't let me make any :P poo) you have no idea how happy that makes me feel... ;D Well, I gotta go, essay time... XP Peace!

Finals! NOOO!! Vacation YAY!!

Ahh! Finals are coming up! I'm not really a fan of them, since I've never had them before, but eh... I'll study and get through. It is weird, though, since we have finals right before winter break. I'm kind of dreading finals (not really, but I love exaggerating) but at the same time I'm really happy about going on vacation, especially since my family is going to a certain tropical island :D. I'm so excited! And scared for finals... eh, I have to go now, but please come back soon, 'cause there will be something good! Peace! ;P

It's Been So Long!!

Hey guys! I haven't blogged in so long and it's pretty awesome, blogging again! i am in high school now! It is a really good school school and I'm happy. I'm in Yearbook and my pages are Halloween, cultural holidays, and class trips. I am very happy, although my schedule is weird. I have dance a lot, but it's very bendy (which is a cooler word than flexible :P) I will try to blog regularly, but if I don't, just poke me or comment 20 times a day! Save the Rainforest!!

I don't have much time to write today, but my friend (no names mentioned) sent me a link to a petition to "Stop Logging the Indonesian Rainforests! Save the Orangutans!" Scroll down the page, where you'll see a button that says "Sign the Petition". Go ahead! Believe me, it's worth it. Stop killing the trees! Save your Earth. Graduation!

Wah! Only two weeks of school left, so sad. I get to go to Great America!! Well, actually the whole grade is going, but that's okay. Meanwhile, I have to get ready for high school... which, in my case, means tutoring... tutoring... did I mention tutoring? I need tutoring in Spanish, Math, and 'enrichment' in Writing, basically tutoring. I get tired of it but is okay with me! Right now I'm listening to the whole All-American Rejects album, 'When the World Comes Down', which I LOVE! Well, now as much as Coldplay, but you get my point. Right? Whew... it's reeeeaallllllyyyyyy hot. Did I mention how much I hate global warming? No? Well, now you know... Global warming is evil. Don't even try to convince otherwise! ;P Hey I love this song! I am listening to 'Clocks' now. This song is awesome, although this weird guy on the radio made a stupid comment. He said, "Guys, if you are listening to this song and you're in the car with your girlfriend, turn the volume up and comment on how this song reminds you of her a lot." Weird, huh?
